KioSnap (kiosnap.com) — an AI-powered digital storefront platform for restaurants and local vendors, built and operated by Qubexiq: photograph a menu, get a live QR-ordering storefront with real-time order operations.
The Challenge
Local restaurants, cafés, and small vendors across India still run on printed menus and manual order-taking. Going digital usually means commission-heavy aggregators or expensive custom apps — neither works for a small outlet. Qubexiq built its own product to close that gap: an affordable SaaS where a vendor photographs their menu and is taking QR orders the same day. KioSnap is designed, engineered, launched, and operated entirely in-house.
Our Approach

Architected a monorepo with six deployable applications — vendor dashboard, customer storefront and marketplace, super-admin panel, marketing site, real-time API, and a native Android app — all sharing typed contracts from a single source of truth

Built an AI menu-digitization pipeline combining OCR and LLM extraction behind a provider-abstraction layer, converting a photographed menu into structured, editable catalog data

Engineered real-time order flow over WebSockets — live order boards, dine-in table sessions, status workflows adapted per business category, and ring-until-acknowledged alarms on the Android app

Implemented subscription billing with UPI autopay mandates, trials, grace periods, dunning, and tier-based feature gating enforced at the API layer

Shipped production infrastructure end to end — isolated staging and production stacks, health-gated CI/CD with automatic rollback, and proactive alerting
